Cookware is dishwasher safe, with the top rack recommended for lids. However, as with all fine cookware, hand-washing is preferred. In time, the cumulative effects of strong agitation and harsh detergent used with the dishwasher will dull the high-gloss exterior, although the performance of the pan will not be affected.

To maintain the attractive appearance, using this cookware in an oven is not recommended even though Lynns Concepts Cookware is oven safe up to 350˚F. Do not place cookware under the broiler. When the heat source is too high, the handles and knobs may become hot. Use of oven-gloves or hot pads is recommended.

“Seasoning” or “Curing” your nonstick means to apply a thin layer of oil in order to fill small pores in the surface of the coating and prevent food from sticking.

While none of our nonstick frypans require seasoning, this practice can help to prolong the life and effectiveness of the nonstick surface.

If you want to season your pan:

1. Wash your pan with soap and warm water. Once washed, dry the pan with a paper towel.
2. Gently coat your pan surface with a non-flavored vegetable, canola, or other cooking oil (olive oil is not recommended).
3. Heat the pan over low heat for 1-2 minutes. You can also put it in the oven at 300˚F for about 20 minutes (all Tuxton Home cookware is oven safe and can be used at temperatures up to 500˚F).
4. Remove the pan from the heat source. Once the oil cools and dries, wipe any excess oil from the pan with a paper towel.

Our nonstick pans can be cleaned with just a quick sponge wash. However, you can repeat the seasoning or curing process as often as you’d like. It will be especially helpful if you frequently use the dishwasher to clean your pans.

With the exception of products with a metallic trim, Lynns Concepts China is safe for microwave, dishwasher and oven use. Products with a metallic trim are safe for dishwasher use; however, as with all fine china, hand-washing is preferred. In time, the cumulative effects of strong agitation and harsh detergent used with the dishwasher will dull the metallic effect, although the performance of the product will not be affected.

Lynns Concepts Stoneware plates are microwave and dishwasher safe. They are not oven safe.
